The students will take part in the examinations in 227 centers from around 2,616 schools in eight districts under Rajshahi education board. Four students with special needs will appear in the examinations this year and they will get 30 minutes extra time.

Controller of Examinations of the board Prof Shamsul Kalam Azad revealed this in a pre-examination press conference at the board conference hall on 31 January 2016.

He said the board authorities have taken all-out measures to ensure peaceful environment and prevent copying at the examination centers.

In this context, he said the present government is committed to holding the examination in copying-free atmosphere and the board authority is working relentlessly to make the government's commitment a total success.

He informed that the center-secretaries have been asked to follow the examination rules and regulations strictly. Punitive measures will be taken against the institutions which will be found guilty of any irregularity, he added.

To that end, a total of 120 vigilance teams and six sticking teams will work together for ensuring a successful examination.
