The admission tests for the first year honors courses in Khulna University (KU) under 2017-18 academic years will begin today (Saturday).
A total of 29,140 candidates applied against 1,204 seats in 28 disciplines, according to a press release.
At least 24 aspirants will vie for a seat in the first year honors courses at the university.
The online application process for the admission terminated on October 9 this year.
On November 11, admission test for Science Engineering and Technology School and Live Science School will be held from 8.30 am to 10.00 am under 'A' unit, while Management and Business Administration School and Social Science School will be held from 12.00 pm to 1.30 pm under 'C' unit.
Arts and Humanity School, Law School and Fine Arts Institute exams will be held from 3.00 pm to 4.30 pm under 'B' unit.
This year, around 1,204 students will be enrolled in 28 disciplines under six schools and one institute of the university. Of the total students, six will be admitted under different quota like freedom fighters’ children, indigenous and from Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP).
The students have been asked for not bringing mobile phone or any other electronic devices during the exams.
